Whenever you face misunderstanding or any sort of suspicion, you should rejoice that the Lord has counted you worthy to face such things and receive a spiritual education through them.

We must learn to be large-hearted towards those who view us with suspicion.

In such situations, you have the opportunity to complete another objective that God requires of you. You must grow in divine love for those who look at us in that way. You must develop a thick skin towards reproach and misunderstanding.

Sometimes we do not realize perhaps how such situations can enable us, not only to grow in personal knowledge of the Lord but also to be free from the opinion of others.

You must be deaf to many things that you hear around you, as it says about the Lord’s servants in Isaiah 42:19-20.

Remember that only you must answer to is the Lord for your life and attitudes. Only when you realize this fact can you be a true servant of Christ. If you seek to please others, you can never be a servant of Christ.
