In verse 21 John finally states that Christ’s peace is with the God’s people. As Genesis begins human history, Revelations ends it. There are different comparisons between Genesis and Revelation. Genesis talks about Adam and Eve constantly communicating with God; Revelations describes the Christians worshipping God face to face. Genesis talks about a serpant that later causes sin to enter the world; Revelations talks about the holy city of God that will have no sin. Genesis talks about how sin destroyed the Garden of Eden; Revelations talks about the same paradise is recreated in the new Jerusalem.
