Dear All,
As I had mentioned in the Church last Sunday, we are focused on equipping the Grace Gospel Church congregation with the word of God to help all of us to stand firm amid any situation and to walk according to HIS will.
Hosea 4:6 says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. Therefore, I broke down teaching of knowledge by three areas and each one of us will be concentrating on one area in our sermon messages.
Sermon Messages
- Jonathan will focus on Life Application Topics every Sunday in Word of Wisdom and in his Sunday Sermons. These are posted online as well.
- Bro. John will preach on Communion Sundays and he will focus on Self Examination and focus more on Paul’s Teachings.
- I will be doing Deeper Studies covering specific areas. It can be Character driven or Things Hard to understand or Any Topic that will help you to remember for good if you follow.
Fellowships
- Women’s Fellowship – Jemima Sister and Christie will be ministering as the Lord leads.
- Men’s Fellowship – Bro. John and I will be sharing messages with discussions
- Prayer Meeting Fellowship – One of us (Me, Bro. John, Jemima Sister or Christie) will share a message. We will discuss topics and also pray together.
Summer Plans
In the Summer, we will invite some guest speakers. We will also have retreat for fellowship and we will discuss the places.
Upcoming Meetings
During the Lent season we will take time every Friday to meet at 6:30 pm in one of the houses as per the schedule and remember the sacrifice what Jesus did so we can have eternal life.
This is a time to come with a heart of self examining ourselves and to turn our minds and hearts towards Jesus.
The evangelical version of Christianity is the doctrine of the work of Christ as the basis of salvation. A doctrine of the work of Christ has to deal with two aspects of the human situation: our situation as sinners in relationship to the God against whom we have sinned and our situation as sinners in relation to the sin that masters us.
Let this be an interactive discussion study where all can ask questions or share their thoughts briefly. I will lead with some topics with small conversation and after group study we can have prayer of repentance.
