After God sent a forty-day-and-night flood to annihilate all living things, He told the only humans, Noah family, to spread across the earth and populate it. Their descendants did not follow God’s instructions and decided to stay with each other by building a tower that could reach up to the heavens to show their own majesty. We all know that because of their selfish pride, God gave each individual a new language so that they cannot finish the tower. We as Christians must learn that when God sets out a plan it will always happen. Just like these individuals who tried to band together to be great, we sometimes decide not to follow God’s commands because we think our plans are better. Let us take God’s commands seriously and listen to the plans that He has for each one of us, and by obeying His commands we will be rewarded and have the best things happened to us because God’s ways are always perfect.
