Posted by Jonathan Merigala The central objective of true Christianity is to deny our own will and to do the will of God. Where your own will crosses the will of God is where you find the cross on which you have to die. That is the point at which your faith in God and your love for Him will tested.
Many believers satisfy themselves with attending meetings and living a decent external life. But the crucial point, at which they can really discover whether they are following Jesus or just being religious, is the point of the daily cross.
May the Lord help you in every situation to die to yourself. That is the way of joy and happiness and blessing and fulfillment and eternal life. Jesus himself demonstrated that to us on earth.
