Posted by Jonathan Merigala If however, you are focusing too much of your studies and neglecting your spirituality, then I would give you exhortations in the opposite direction. The Holy Spirit speaks to us to turn right or left, according to which direction we are going off the straight path that Jesus walked in.
In Isaiah 30:21, we read, “With your own eyes you will see your teacher. And if you leave God’s paths and go astray, you will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘No, this is the way; walk here.'”
We all need to hear that voice constantly to keep us balanced. Wisdom is to be balanced in all things. We must always be thankful to God for every grade for every assignment. God makes it known throughout the Bible that all gifts are from God and that includes your intellect. So, everything we have talked about is only to enable us to be balanced, so that our zeal can be coupled for wisdom.
