One of the key topics in the Bible is that it talks about always being ready. There were once ten virgins. They were all waiting for the married couple to come their way and invite them into their household. Five of virgins oiled up their lamps, but it took a long time for the married couple to arrive. Because of this, those five virgins ran out of oil for their lamps, and they were unprepared. There were also the other five virgins. These virgins were wise because they brought an abundance of oil to suffice the entire night. It is was very dark and deep into the night when the married couple arrived. The first five virgins did not have oil to fuel up their lamps in the darkness. The other five did, and when they went to the house the couple invited them in. The other five tried to get in, but the married couple told them that they never knew them because they could see the faces in the darkness. Because of this, those five virgins were cast out of the wedding party. We must realize as Christians is Christ is coming very soon. It is our job as his disciples to constantly minister to people in the world. Let us not just passively wait for the second coming of Christ, but we must do everything in our power to save souls away from eternal torment and to bring them into the family of God.

Acts 3:19-21

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, 20 and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.
