In verse eight Paul explains that Christians believe in life even when they die. Because of Christ’s death and resurrection, Christians need never fear death. That assurance frees us to enjoy fellowship with him and to do his will. This will affect all our daily activities. In verse nine Paul explains that Christ was raised from the dead and that he cannot die again. One of the most magnificent accomplishments of our Christ is he conquered sin and death. Every other human who ever lived may have done some good things, but in the end was not able to conquer death. but our Christ is amazing in that he lived a perfect life, paid the penalty of our sin willingly, and was the only one who conquered death and sin. This is why he is the only one who is worthy of our true adoration and admiration.

Romans 6:8-9
8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.
