In verse thirteen Paul tells us not to offer our body parts as instruments of wickedness. The phrase “instruments of wickedness” refers to a tool or weapon. Our skills, capabilities, and bodies can serve many purposes, good or bad. In sin, every part of our body can be vulnerable to sin. In Christ, every part of our body can be an instrument for the expansion of his glory. The main question for us is “will we give ourselves completely to God, asking him to put us to good use for his glory.

Romans 6:13
13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.
