Posted by Jonathan Merigala One of the things I have discovered is that Christian growth is largely dependent on being free from the opinions of others.
There is no way we can enter God’s rest, unless we learn to live only before the face the God.
If you can break free from the opinions of men – and yet never despise or feel superior to anyone, then you will be set.
Things around us are going to crumble – in every denomination of Christianity. When this happens, you must stand strong in the Lord.
So be prepared. All the opposition you face, from religious Christians, will only free you even more from the opinions of men.
Once we have seen the great “mystery of godliness”- that Jesus came in the flesh and was tempted like us but did not sin – we have to be careful that we do not get so taken with explaining that doctrine that we miss out on actually living as Jesus lived in our daily life.
