There was once a man named Joseph who was one of the twelve sons of Jacob. Joseph was Jacob’s favorite because he came from his father’s favorite wife, Rachael. The other brothers were jealous of this special treatment towards Joseph and sold him into slavery. Because Joseph was always loyal to God’s plan and purpose, God blessed Joseph by giving him the second in command position of all of Egypt. Several years later Joseph’s brothers came to Egypt for food because of the famine. When his brothers came to Egypt, they did not recognize him. Then Joseph reveals himself to his brothers and then they repent of their sin. Because of God putting Joseph in this situation, he was able to save multitudes of people from starvation through the wisdom given by God. In our lives, we sometimes underestimate the plans of God for our lives whether it is hard times or unfair treatment. Whoever loves God must always remember this verse; he will make our future well and prosperous in the end. We just have to trust in the destiny God has in store for us.
