In the book of Luke, it basically talks about how Jesus did not come to this earth to make peace but for a division. Jesus came to this earth and lived a sinless life and showed us how we must live as Christians. Jesus was the substitutionary sacrifice for all of the people’s sin. Jesus also rose from the dead on the third day by conquering sin and death. Through Jesus’ perfect life, death, and resurrection, He made the division. That day, He divided the children of the great king from the children of the devil. Jesus states in Scripture that all types of family members will fight against each other in the battlefield of spiritual warfare. Jesus came to this earth to make the final division of the people who go to heaven, and the people who go to hell. If we are Christians, we must thank God every day for giving us the conviction to repent of our sins and accept Jesus for what He has done. If you are not a Christians, we beg you as the body of Christ to turn away from your wrongdoing because Jesus did that on the cross for all of our wrongdoing. Let us be considerate of this, even though our God is merciful God – if you do not accept Jesus, there is no turning back after death.

Luke 12:49-53

“I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to undergo, and what constraint I am under until it is completed! Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”
