In the first verse, John sees that there will be a new earth and heaven, which will replace the old ones. After that, he says that there will no longer be any sea. We all know that the earth will not last forever, but after God’s wrath, it will be replaced by the new earth. The same goes for heaven. God has also promised Isaiah that he would create a new and eternal earth. In John’s time period, the sea was seen as dangerous and unchangeable. We do not know much about the new earth, but we all know that everyone, whose name is in the Book of Life, will be there in the new earth. Will you be there?

21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
