Posted by Jonathan Merigala In verses 25-27, it states that the gates of new Jerusalem will not be shut and the glory of nations will be brought into it. Nothing sinful nor corrupt will enter the city. Not everyone will be allowed into the new Jerusalem, but those whose names are written in the Book of Life. We must never think that we could get into this paradise on our own, except through the saving grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Through Christ, we can secure our citizenship in the new Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:25-27
25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
