Before Jesus ascended up to heaven, He told His disciples to preach the Gospel in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These are the three names that are referred to God. There is only one God, but there are three persons in God. The first one is the Father who is the ultimate Ruler and is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing), and omnipresent (everywhere). The Son is Jesus who is the Son of God yet still God. The difference is that the Son is the human form of God and was sent to die for all our sins. The Holy Spirit is the helper during our Christian walk. It is our Counselor that helps us with our troubles and emotions. We all know that the Trinity is hard to comprehend, but we must think about it as God having different forms that have specific obligations to do for the guidance of His people. Let us as Christians believe in the power of the Trinity through the faith that God gives us because the purpose of the Trinity is to help all people find their way to God.
