Since life is short, we must make full use of every temptation that we face in our lives to be an overcomer and thus acquire the heart of wisdom that we should present to God at the end of our earthly days.

You must not leave this earth with any sins still unconquered in our lives.

To be wholehearted is to have a burning desire to present yourself to God without a spot.

There is a difference between sin and temptation. If an evil flashes in your mind, that is temptation. If you dwell on it, accept it, then it becomes sin.

Whether you look at a girl or a guy and are tempted to lust, that is temptation. If you continue to look at the individual or think about him/her, you sin.

The first observation was temptation and is unavoidable. The second look is sin—and is avoidable.

You should not have to feel condemned when some temptation comes to our mind. Even Jesus was tempted in His mind.

You can say “no” with your will. Then you will be an overcomer. It is for strength to say “no” that Jesus cried and prayed for help.

We must also cry out in the same way for help.
