One of the most famous verses in all of scripture is 2 Corinthians 5:17. It basically talks about how Christians are brand-new people on the inside.

The Holy Spirit gives us life. We are not reformed, rehabilitated, or reeducated — we are re-created, living in vital union with Christ.

When we are converted, we are beginning a new life in Christ. Not only are believers changed from the within, but a whole new order of creative energy begins with Christ.

We must always remember that once God changes someone the change is so supernatural and permanent that a person cannot go back. This is an entirely new way looking at all people and all of creation. It requires a new way of looking at all people and all of creation.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here!
