There was once a young man named Titus who was one of apostle Paul’s closest friends. Paul told Titus that it was important for younger Christians to have role models. Paul told Titus many instructions on how to lead the church so that there would be role models. Paul told Timothy to teach the older women to teach their young daughters about living life in a godly way. Paul told Titus to also teach older men to have self-control and respect. In doing this, Paul was establishing role models for the new believers so the entire church is being brought up in the Word of God.

We as Christians must be role models in the outside world and in the church. God wants His people to come from their lives of sin and just come to him. We must be role models by showing people how to live like Jesus, and how we should act in any trouble or situation. By doing this as Christians, we will expand the kingdom of God, and let the Body of Christ mature in the faith so we can be powerful evangelists for His kingdom.

Titus 2:5

They can teach younger women to be wise and pure, to take care of their homes, to be kind, and to obey their husbands. Then no one will be able to criticize the teaching God gave us.
