For centuries, the Jews have been learning about God by obeying his laws and living according to God’s moral principles. But the Jews often forgot about God’s laws and commandments and were often disciplined for their actions. The Jews were privileged to have the belief in a one true God instilled in their minds. Out of all the people groups in the world, the Jews should have been most ready for the coming of the Messiah. Only some of them were ready like the apostles, but the other Jews were still waiting for the Messiah.

Romans 1:16
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
