In verse five the one, seated on the throne, states that he is making all things new. In verse six God states who he is. God is the Creator. The Bible begins with the story of his creation of the universe, and it concludes with the creation of the new heaven and new earth. This is great hope and encouragement for all believers. Just as God finished his work of creation and Jesus finished the plan of redemption, so the Trinity will finish the entire plan of salvation by inviting those who have accepted Christ into a new creation.

Revelation 21:5-6
5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.
