Let us focus on the fourteenth verse. It states that death and Hades were thrown into the lake of burning sulfur. God’s judgement is finally finished. The lake of fire is the final destination for everything wicked – those whose names not written in the Lamb’s book of life. John’s vision does not hide anything, but it shows reality. The reality is if we have not identified with Christ and confessed that He is Lord, there will no hope or second chance.
