Here are some proposed explanations for the empty tomb.

Some people believe that Jesus was only unconscious and later revived. This can’t be true because the Roman soldier told Pilate that Jesus was dead, and the Roman soldiers did not break Jesus’ legs because he died sooner than anticipated and to make sure one of them pierced Jesus’ side with a spear. These soldiers were absolutely ruthless in their ways of torture.

Another explanation people have developed for the empty tomb is that the disciples stole Jesus’ body. This can’t be true because the tomb was firmly sealed and guarded by several Roman soldiers, so the disciples would not even get the chance to be near the tomb. Not only that but we need to consider the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and were willing to die for what they believed. If they were to take the body of Christ, it would make the faith that they were willing to die for completely meaningless thus undermining the power of God himself.

I am sure there are many other theories people have constructed to prove Christ was not the Son of God. But if you are reading this and you are unsure or strongly disagree in the power of Christ, it is your own sin that is shielding you from the truth.

History proves that this actually occurred, and plenty of eye-witnesses were there to testify to his existence after death. The facts are all there, but no one can help if you just simply reject the valid evidence presented in front of us. It is not until you trust in God that he opens your eyes to see the truth. The fact is that Christ is our resurrected Savior who conquered sin and death on our behalf.
