In verse thirteen Paul tells us not to pass judgment on one another and not to be an obstacle in our brother’s and sister’s way. Both strong and weak Christians can cause their brothers and sisters to stumble. The scrupulous but insensitive Christian may try to fence others in with petty rules and regulations which create dissension between others. Paul wants his readers to be strong in the faith and sensitive to other’s needs. Because we are all strong and weak in some areas, we need to constantly monitor our own actions toward others.

Romans 14:13
13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.
